Shared Aura ("we," "us," "our") operates a spiritual dating and community platform at sharedaura.com. References to "you" mean any user of our Service. For purposes of GDPR, Shared Aura acts as the data controller for personal data collected through the Service.

We process your data on the legal bases of: (a) contractual necessity — to provide you the Service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to improve the Service and maintain safety; (c) legal obligation — to comply with applicable law; and (d) consent — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies.
Your soul profile — including your belief levels across 17 traditions, chakra resonance, aura color, twin flame role, and Black Moon Lilith analysis — constitutes your most personal data on this platform. It is used exclusively to:
Connection preferences and covens: Your gender identity, who you would like to see, your age range and whether you are open to romance, friendship or both are used only to decide who appears in each other's match feeds; they are not shown on your profile. When you join a coven, its other members can see your display name, photo, Sun sign and role, and what you post on the coven board. Coven founders and elders can see the note you send with a join request. Covens that meet in person show only the city, never an address; the details of a gathering are visible to coven members only.
Soul Bond readings: When you request a reading with another member, we use derived astrological data from both profiles (e.g. Moon sign, Nakshatra, Day Master); the other member's birth date, birth time and name are never shown to you. If you enter someone else's birth details yourself, those details are used only to compute your reading: the saved reading keeps the label you give it (e.g. a first name) and the derived results, not the birth date, time or full name. Please only enter another person's details if you have their permission. Readings are for reflection and entertainment, not predictions, and are deleted when you delete your account.
Advertising: Advertisers on Shared Aura are targeted by broad tradition-interest categories (e.g., users with active astrology practice, users who engage with the chakra system) — not by individual soul profile data points. No advertiser ever receives your individual profile data. We do not build advertising profiles for third parties using your spiritual data.
We share your personal data only in these circumstances:

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account:
Archived data is not visible to you or other users and is only accessible to us for safety investigations and legal compliance purposes. Data is automatically purged after the applicable retention period, except where a legal preservation order is in effect.

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact legal@sharedaura.com immediately.
We do not permit images of minors to be uploaded to the Service under any circumstances.
California residents have additional rights under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
